Oscar the Poet Dog
Oscar isn't like other dogs. He's a poet dog. But what a shame his poems remain inside his head. Then one day his owner, ten year old Petunia, sees a bump emerging from Oscar's head. POP! The bump explodes and releases a speech bubble filled with the words of a poem about the unrequited love of Oscar's life, Esme the poodle from next door. As no one else can see the poem bubbles, Petunia keeps them to herself. In fact, she soon gets bored of them. That is until she finds out about a poetry competition and enters one of Oscar's poems as her own. She's happy to take full credit for winning, until Oscar takes matters into his own hands.
